I'm missing Andy Rooney for this long drawn out CBS announcement. :p
I mean, all I need to know is is he dead or not. I don't need 20 questions to 20 different reporters/analysts/etc on whether efforts have been steeped up in the last few months to find/kill osama and other information.

MS Natural Keyboard is also good.
Apple mouse is beautiful and using one is not very stressful for your hand. Scroll ball in the Mighty Mouse is the best I've used and there's no comparison.
The only bad Apple mice were the hockey pucks.
Yeah the MS Natural Keyboard is good, but sorry the Mighty Mouse just plain is a mighty sucky product. The ergonomics sucks, the scroller thingy gets dirty and hardly work and ithe Mighty Mouse is by far too expensive compared with other better products on the market.

what a complete imbecile. As someone who tries to eat healthy, exercises, avoids excessive partying etc and still struggles to lose weight I am sickened by this ***holes actions :mad:
I'm sorry, if you struggle to lose weight, you're not doing it right. Losing weight is dead easy. Keeping it off is dead easy too. Have your doctor check for any health problems which might prevent you from losing weight or recheck your food intake vs energy expenditure.
Losing weight is a very simple formula : Calories in < Calories out. Change the symbol around and you gain weight. Make it = and you keep your weight.
A lot of people don't understand this very simple mecanic which is the very basis of weight control. When you have this part down to a science, you can adjust the food intake to provide fibers/vitamins/proteins that you need.

Yup, believe me i am looking elsewhere for a lower price if possible, and if not i am going to go to my friend that works at nordstroms and have her buy it for me, and if that doesnt happen, i am just going to by them. I have one of the shirts already and i get tons of comments on them.

No, a flat fee for unlimited rentals (music and movies) would be a good deal. I don't see Apple offering that any time soon, if EVER.
Spot on, couldn't agree more. It's a marketing gimmick, and I've always hated that "dumbed down" term "cloud storage" for the average Joe-sumer. I hate that I have to use it for some of my clients for them to "get it". :rolleyes:

Because if you order one now you'll get an email back saying there was an unexpected delay. Inventory is drying up at best buy and amazon. Other threads here on the macrumor forums show that supplies are shrinking all over the world and distributors have no stock.

You're reaching pretty hard there. Apple makes consumer electronics that I enjoy using everyday. They're creating new markets and innovating existing ones. I don't understand how you can think that enjoying that is a bad thing.

If this patent is anything close to reality, Apple may be prepping something much bigger than an iPod, something closer to a full-featured OS X tablet computer. You'll be running a full-featured version of iTunes, not just the simplified UI of the iPod:

Did Canadian prices actually go down? The 27-inch: 3.1GHz is only $1999, when I think it was $2099 before the refresh.
It'd be nice to have price parity with USD given the strength of our dollar. I think that's achieved in the new iMacs, but the MacBook Pros are still unadjusted.

I'm looking forward to it, although I'm hoping the LED IPS display issues are resolved, I don't want to have to deal with yellow tint or dead pixels..
It'd be great if Apple had the same no dead pixel policy as Dell..

As a Mac fan-boy I'd love to think Apple actually picked up sustainable market share, but as an actual technology product manager who does forecasts for a living, I've got to look askew at the data:
* Mac market share was DOWN the previous quarter
* The attributed cause of the share drop the previous quarter was the transition to Intel
* Therefore the previous quarter share drop represented pent-up demand that would rematerialize once the Intel transition stabilized
* Therefore one would expect a corresponding one-time blip UP in the corresponding quarter to resolve the pent-up demand
* And low and behold, the marketshare "increase" just about corresponds to the resolution of the previous quarter's pent-up demand.
In other words, to keep the same long-term share, the current quarter's share would have to temporarily rise to make-up for last quarter's drop.
Sorry, amigos, I'll wait to see next quarter's data before I pop the cork...

I can confirm this. I have had the Mulititasking Gestures on my iPad(1) and I'm running 4.3.

Huh, I notice "Wireless keyboard and mouse" is no longer an option for BTO iMac... thats odd. You'd think they'd at least keep the regular bluetooth mouse there until they figure out what to charge for the BTO bluetooth MM.
