All I'm saying is that if, in the event Apple, or ANY other company REMOVES once-standard features ... to later then call them 'luxary' features ... those companies deserve a big round of boos from us - the consumers. That's a pathetic and cynical way to try to goose sales for your higher end products.
Fair enough, but it seems all we can do as consumers is vote with our dollars if we don't like it.

For people buying an expensive smartphone getting the 3GS is a good deal. Notice how they sell more of them then any other smartphone besides the iPhone 4, even when Android handset makers give away their product.
No its not, its old hardware and knowing apple after 2 years the iOS support isnt going to last for very long. Seeing its only 100 under the iphone 4 price with less disc space its really only for those people who desperatly want an apple phone but cant spend that extra 100 . But for those people no doubt there are plenty of very good and cheaper alternatives.

Maybe this is payback for what happened last year with Gizmodo. Apple figures well this is what you get for basically getting an early unveiling of the iPhone 4 last year. We'll just give it to you even later than we usually do hehe. :cool:

There should be no refunds.

Wow.
Actually, the reason I NEVR got a mobile phone until the iPhone came out is the dropped-call rate for my friends in NYC. Who were on Sprint, as it happened. Their experience was so poor that it kept me on land lines for decades :o

Mac sales really have been increasing the past couple of quaters. Hopefully, those new Mac buyers continue buying Apple products. Also, It's a good thing I own some Apple stock. :D

i have a family plan with a 3G, 3GS and 2 cheapo phones. my wife and her parents came from Verizon. we live in NYC and no one ever complains about dropped calls. i've had a few from inside a converted factory building with very thick walls
the most dropped calls i have are to my mom in colorado who has t-mobile. those drop on a land line all the time as well

I have my fingers crossed! one of them is connected to the power supply for another machine :eek: it seems to be working for now but I will have to get some bigger psu's soon. The one you are getting looks like a good deal.

I believe that it isn't suggesting anything at all. When you go to list the devices that your application is compatible with, that is likely just an exposed extra field for if you wanted to include another device that is capable. It is in my opinion, nothing but a little bug. (Though emulating iOS apps om my Mac would be cool :P)
