It seems as if the Big B has not given up on this issue just yet. He is making it a point to mention it atleast once each week, despite what other international developments are going on. I think he will be putting the full court press on the house republicans, it will be interesting to see whether he gets them to accept some compromise.

I don't have answer to your first question. But, I went to Matamoros, Mexico in May 2010 for visa stamping. I wouldn't suggest going to Mexico if you don't have a letter from Client specifying your role on the project with project duration. I was grilled for about 20mins even though I had client letter, w2's for last 5 years. I had to stay overnight in Mexico as they have problems with their printers and could notget the visa printing done the same day. Be prepared to stay in Mexico a day or two incase if you face the same situation.

My company had promised that they would start my GC processing once I complete a year which was in March 2009. Since then they have been going back and forth with the lawyers writing the job description to post the job ad.
The lawyer tells us that the department of labour has tightened up the process and so the job description needs to be very generic with minimum number of years of experience(2 for a sr. software engineer) and this has caused a lot of controversy that this will cause an audit and so on and forth.
I am sure there are many other people out there who are applying even now. I do not know if its the lawyer or the company that is causing an issue here.
My only option would be to search for another job who will do my GC. But i dont have so much time left for all that.
What can i do?

Congratulations - you have 90 days after it expires to renew it. Since you got your GC within 60 days, there is nothing to worry about. You must however talk to your HR with a copy of ur GC and update the I-9. But that is just for records and should there be an audit, you should be all set.

Well a company can be sued for any reason. I do not control the day to day activity apart from IT stuff.
My question specifically, if the company is sued, since I am a minority owner will I have to do rounds in the court appear before a judge etc..will I be summoned! Or only the executives majority shareholders are summoned.
(No I am not talking about a body shop and this is a small financial firm)

We have in our contract with our strategic counsel that no part of our payment to them, will go to any political fundraisers. This issue was ironed before we even started asking for money. We could not have risked our careers. Our Contributers are also very smart as you are so they made sure they are doing everything withing the boundries of law, as you're doing. It is appreciable!!!

I am also in same situation where my salary is much less than what is mentioned in LC. I am not sure if its going to affect my 485 application. I have got my 140 approved though. I have asked this question to attorneys and forums and everybody has the same opinion that GC is for future job so it should not matter if one's wages are not matching with LC.

I've an appointment in October at Munich, Germany consulate for H1B stamping. Because of time constraints I decided to get the stamping done when I'm out there for work. I've already obtained the german visa (though had to provide plenty of explanation !). This is my 9th yr extn (MS, EB2 - 140 approved)
- Can anyone share their experience at the Munich consulate?
- or, should I plan going to Canada and trying rather taking the risk in Germany?

This plea is for people who are still undecided about the rally and have lot of friends in the same situation. If there is a group of friends in the same situation it only takes one brave soul to make a decision and every one will jump in. The sharp and crisp look is the key here, IMHO, and the first shot has that advantage, despite having a slightly more washed out appearance. Of course, I suppose that it would be a fairly simple matter to make the first shot's contrast and saturation come closer to that of the second during RAW conversion.
